Electroacupuncture Therapy

Electroacupuncture treatments are generally like any other acupuncture treatment, just with the added stimulation of a low-voltage electrical current. Clips are attached to the needles once they are inplace. Then the current flows between two acupuncture needles to stimulate the flow of qi.
During treatment, patients can expect to have acupuncture needles placed on the arms,hands, legs, hips, feet, neck, lower back, shoulders, or abdomen for a period between 10 to 30 minutes. The pulses can be continuous or intermittent.
