“You feel the need for other people I admire, although tend to be critical of yourself. But personality weaknesses you are generally able to compensate. You have considerable capacity not you used to your advantage.

Are you proud of yourself as a person and not idependenta accept views of others than with a satisfactory proof. Sometimes you are extrovert, sociable, and sometimes you are introverted and reserved. Some of your aspirations tend to be rather unrealistic. ”
Now to tell the truth. Horoscope that you read is false. What you read is actually a random personality profile, written in 1948 for a psychological experiment. All who participated in the experiement were given the same text. The only things that have been customized zodiac, zodiac animal sign, etc..
The purpose of this experiment was to study the horoscopes fake and demonstrate how easy it is to create a horoscope convincing, so that everyone would be included in it.
The results indicated that most people have accepted as true a false horoscope.
This course does not prove that astrology is false, but not otherwise. Show but a few techniques used to create fake horoscopes.
Barnum Effect
That is called a type of subjective validation in which a person finds the deeper meanings in general statements that can apply to many people. (for a broader article about the “Barnum effect” see here: (Thinking selective and Barnum Effect)
This has aroused interest and psychologists and was famous first Forer who executed an experiment.
Forer effect
Forer Effect is a term used to describe people’s tendency to interpret general propositions as appropriate for their personality, even if they are not. When people receive a text describing a figure chosen at random and are said to have been written for them personally, they tend to declare as true or even very precise.
Generally, the person must be made to believe that the text applies only themselves. The subject must believe in the evaluator, and analysis to contain positive aspects.
“Forer Effect” is named after the American psychologist Bertram R. Forer (1914 – 2000) who led an experiment in 1948. Forer gave a personality test to a group of students and then asked to respond on data accuracy. Students at a rate of 85.2% said they were accurate. What the students did not know was that they were given false results, each with the same information about personality.
This rating was created by combining parts of the horoscope. It demonstrated how easily such people can be led to believe that their personality is described in that assessment, when actually … no.
Astrology is based on evaluations of personality. People think it works because the assessments offered by astrologers are quite accurate.
Another well-known experiment was done by Michel Gauquelin in 1979. The experiment was conducted on 150 people, asking them that after they read “their” horoscope to tell how accurate the character described. 94% of the study said the horoscope is right. And in this experiment horoscope was false. All those 150 people read the horoscope of a serial killer named Marcel Petiot.
Forer effect is found in many areas of the paranormal field. For example, reading thoughts, biorhythms, tarot reading in books, etc..
