Predictions Prophecies of Edgar Cayce – Reincarnation and Karma, Fate, Destiny, Serghei Lazarev
Reincarnation means the return of the soul to Earth, in a new body, under different conditions than in the previous life – country, family, profession, destiny – according to karmic laws.
Karma means a set of causes and effects, according to which human destiny is programmed. In life, every person lives in a certain way, performs various actions, good or bad. In another life, he will reap what he sowed, in the sense that he will bear the consequences of his thoughts and deeds, positive or negative. This karmic cycle aims at the evolution of the soul, by learning some life lessons. Karma should not necessarily be interpreted as a punishment, but as the sum of some lessons not yet learned along the self’s long road to perfection.
The Law of Karma is one of the 7 Universal Laws, also called Kybalion Laws, immutable laws.
Since ancient times, reincarnation was told in the “Tibetan Book of the Dead”, and in the Vedic texts “Katha Upanisad” and “Bhagavad-Gita” the principles of reincarnation were well explained. It is said that the body is only a vehicle for the soul, does not identify with the real Self, degrades over time, and perishes, while the soul or spirit never dies, is eternal, survives the physical body, and can incarnate in another body , for another life.
Through death, the soul does nothing but get rid of the decayed mortal body, like some old clothes, and dresses again, in new clothes – another young body – and thus submits to the endless cycle of deaths and rebirths.
Although the Law of Karma is implacable, there are chances to free ourselves from its cycle by reaching a high level of soul evolution and perfection, realizing the superior, deep Self. Thus we will begin to understand the problems of earthly existence – life, illness, old age, death – considered as suffering. But it is precisely through these sufferings that the soul evolves, because they are the best incentives for the development of latent spiritual faculties. Thus, all the hardships of life have a justification, because the goal of any incarnation is permanent education and learning.
In ancient Greece, Socrates, Pythagoras, Plato, believed in reincarnation and the evolution of the soul, and the Mysteries included reincarnation in their doctrine.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam made frequent references in their holy books to this subject, although they do not officially recognize the existence of reincarnation.
In the beginning, there were numerous references to this subject in the Bible, but in the Middle Ages this was forbidden, suppressing whole passages from it, as well as from other holy writings. However, there were concerns of enlightened people like Origen or of secret societies like Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, Cabala, which kept alive the idea of reincarnation.
During the Renaissance, Giordano Bruno was convinced that the soul can migrate from one body to another, and in the Age of Enlightenment, Voltaire wrote about these things.
Many enlightened people -Napoleon I, Tolstoy, Balzac, Goethe, Victor Hugo, Lamartine, Gauguin, Jack London, Franklin, Karl Jung, Edgar Cayce – strongly believed in the reality of reincarnation, and certain movements such as transcendentalism, founded the doctrine on this principle.
Nowadays, many researchers, scientists, doctors, therapists, writers have dealt with this problem. Rudolf Steiner, Raymond Moody, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Francois Brune, Serghei Lazarev, Patrick Drouot, their conferences and writings showed the undoubted existence of this phenomenon so poorly understood by people. In our country, Scarlat Demetrescu explained to everyone in the book “From the secrets of life and the universe”, what reincarnation is.
All these authors reported about cases of persons subjected to hypnotic regression who reached their explorations, beyond the threshold of the current reincarnation, thus being able to correct physical, psychic and mental problems that appeared in this life. The same is also explained sentimentally by “Déja vu”, which many of us have experienced, i.e. the recognition of places we have not been through in this life and the meeting with people we have not met, but we recognize them .
That is why we must understand our destiny, accept our mistakes, failures, successes, analyze our feelings and actions, our relationships with those around us, in order to balance ourselves spiritually, to learn and evolve.
The American medium Edgar Cayce did trance “readings” of the applicants’ past lives, renowned doctors like Raymond Moody, studied the manifestations of clinical death in which their patients were – the so-called Near Death Experiences – trying to find out what was happening with the soul after death. From the thousands of testimonies it emerged that immediately after death the patients saw a tunnel with a great light at the end, thus entering another dimension, the spiritual one, being met there by relatives, friends, acquaintances, spiritual guides and other beings of light , energetic, without a body, who died a long time ago in the earthly life and have now come to meet the newly arrived soul and guide it in its new posture of life. All the patients told about a perfect world, a lot of love and kindness, harmony and complete reconciliation.
In this way, it sometimes ends up that a soul desires difficult living conditions, an imperfect body, precisely in order to mature and pay its karmic debts.
In the spiritual world, each soul has the total memory of all its previous lives, but upon reincarnation this is erased and an amnesia appears precisely in order not to influence the destiny and the path chosen by that soul for the purpose of evolution and perfection.
If it weren’t for this amnesia, our life would be hell, remembering lives in which we tortured, killed, did bad things, things that would prevent us from consciously choosing another future. Once we were rich, once poor, once saints, once oppressors, once geniuses, once idiots, once women, once men, so that the soul always put in another posture learns, perfects itself and evolves non-stop, like at a school.
Souls, according to their degree of evolution, may or may not opt for the destiny of the new life in the sense that: a less evolved soul is imposed by the Law of Karma on the life it will lead, a more evolved soul has certain possibilities of choice and is guided, and a superior soul returns to reincarnation usually at his desire to help people, reminding them through his life, his deeds, his teachings of the realization he must reach.
Under the various names under which it has been known over time – metempsychosis, transmigration, palingenesis – rejected by the Christian, Hebrew, Muslim religions, but admitted by all other religions, reincarnation remains the great rediscovery of our times.
