Crystal Colors- Chromotherapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colors) of electromagnetic radiation to cure diseases. Therapy,Hamatit, rubin, Quarz, achat, karneol malachit, Amethyst

Each color or shade is actually electromagnetic radiation (light) refracted with a certain wavelength that makes them visible to the human eye, but when it comes to crystals, their colors are not only about what the eye can or cannot see but also of what led to their formation and the environment in which they developed. The colors of the crystals are given by the way of formation, the formation environment, the energy consumed, the chemical composition, but also by the impurities that were trapped inside them during formation. Depending on these characteristics or elements in their composition, the crystals absorb a certain part of the light and the amount and frequency of light refracted and captured by the photoreceptors in the human eye generate impulses to the brain that tell us what colors we perceive.

There is also a peculiarity that the crystals present when it comes to the shade they have and this is due to the chemical elements they have in their composition, for example titanium and cobalt can generate the blue color, chromium can generate red or green while copper is responsible for the turquoise blue color. Crystals whose color depends on the chemical composition are called idiochromatic and those whose color does not depend on the chemical structure but on the impurities that are present in the structures are called allochromatic. We can use as an example sapphire and ruby which have the same chemical structure/composition (Al2O3) but their color differs due to the presence of chromium, respectively iron and titanium.

Why we are attracted to certain colors of crystals1

The colors do not depend only on what can be seen with the eyes, but it is also about the energy that each color can have and the vibrations it can bring, this principle being the one that is the basis of therapies based on colored light. But returning to what can attract us to a crystal of a certain color, we must also be connected to the energies that were the basis of our evolution as humans and also the basis of the evolution of crystals. Each of our ancestors associated a certain color with a certain state of mind such as survival, well-being, safety, health or with less positive elements such as war, disease or with human or vegetable remains.

The emphasis of preferences when it comes to colors can also be given by the society in which we develop but also by the cycles of nature, but taking into account that babies tend to become very selective with certain colors from a very young age, the preferred colors tend to be something born. It can be observed in some societies that already from the age of 2, girls tend to prefer red or colors from this range, while boys tend to reject such shades and turn to blue or green. The choice of a color can also be given by the state of mind that a person has, for example yellow can be considered a color of joy, while other darker colors can be associated with a more gloomy state of mind.

The connection of colors with the state of mind is also made through chromotherapy, as I have already mentioned, and this through the lens of the effects that wearing a color can have on the one who wears it, being able to extend to which crystals can be chosen or worn. Red crystals are used or recommended by certain people to prevent the effects of aging, to help those who want to lose weight or perhaps have a better physical shape, but also those who want to increase memory or processing capacity of the brain.

Moving from a dark red to brighter colors we will have orange crystals that can be used to influence a person’s working environment and way of working. The effects of a crystal of such a shade can be very strong when it comes to motivation, and when it comes to making a decision or activating the ambition to complete a project that you may have been putting off for some time. Concentration, logical thinking, revitalization of the mind or increased self-esteem can be just some of the other effects that orange crystals can have on those who wear them. If we go to yellow, we can talk about awakening or energizing the body, like the sun awakens nature to life in the morning, but we can also have a therapeutic effect for certain ailments, such as stomach pains or problems with the digestive system.

Why we are attracted to certain colors of crystals2

If the majority of women prefer colors with a red base, it does not mean that for colors with a blue base we must address only men. It has already been verified that green can have a beneficial effect on the eyes and mind, sometimes inducing a slight relaxation and learning is relatively easier if we are talking about a green text placed on a white sheet. Other benefits brought by this color and the crystals that hold it are related to the production of painkillers in the body, the brain being stimulated by exposure to the color green to command a greater production of such substances in the body. Violet or indigo are colors that are very close to everyone’s spirit and thus help to obtain a state of calm and relaxation but at the same time encourage self-discovery and spiritual self-development. The color blue is most often associated with skin or complexion disorders and the use of crystals with such a shade can influence the body to solve these problems and for a faster and scarless healing of skin lesions.

Why each of us has a favorite color is difficult to specify, it could be all the causes or reasons mentioned above, but how a color can influence us is not something foreign or sci-fi, this principle being very carefully put into practice when it comes to marketing . For example, you can choose the logo of a company, look at it and write down two words about how you feel looking at that image and then face this guide of colors – emotions.
